Eurostar launches summer ticket sale

Eurostar has released 20,000 extra £69 return fares for mid-week travel from London to Paris, Lille or Brussels this summer.

Holidaymakers have until Sunday to make the most of this exclusive offer, which is available for travel between the July 24th and August 31st 2012.

Passengers are advised to check the £69 fare finder on the Eurostar website, which clearly indicates which weekdays have the best low-priced ticket availability.

Travellers looking to enjoy a summer city break can also make the most of exclusive hotel offers by booking their train and hotel together.

Mary Walsh, director of communications for Eurostar said: “August is the perfect time to escape to the continent for a day trip or city break, with many locals going off for the holiday period leaving a peaceful atmosphere in which to explore and relax.

“With attractive fares and exclusive discounts on hotel and train packages, there is lots of opportunity to treat yourself.”
