Vietnam Airlines to offer 84,000 seats for passengers during National Day holidays |

Today August 27, Vietnam Airlines has announced a plan to increase its
load during peak period around September 2 (Vietnam National Day) to
meet the travel needs of passengers.

Accordingly, during the period from August 30 to September 4, 2012, Vietnam Airlines will increase flights on 11 domestic routes with high tourism demand, including: Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang, Nha Trang and Da Lat; Hanoi to Vinh and Dong Hoi; Da Nang to Hai Phong; Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc and Buon Ma Thuot.
The routes with most increase this period are Hanoi - Da Nang, Hanoi - Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang.
Total seats supplied of VN on 11 domestic routes during this peak period are up to 84,000, an increase of 12% compared to the regular schedule and 6 % higher than the same period of 2011.
With this plan, Vietnam Airlines hopes to basically solve the frequent overload problem on the holidays.
